No, the deposit is non-refundable but transferable in case of changes made to a booking at the purchaser's request, more than 7 days before the scheduled event.
Full payment is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled event and must be made to Wonderland Party Entertainment's specified bank account by electronic bank transfer or another nominated method.
Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the event incurs a fee of 100% of the event invoice. Cancellation over 7 days results in the loss of the deposit.
Replacement character options may be offered.
Extensions may be accommodated at Wonderland Party Entertainment's discretion and availability. Overtime is charged at the hourly entertainer's rate.
Yes, Wonderland Party Entertainment’s packages allow for 20 children, beyond 20 children, a supplementary fee of $5 per additional child applies. If over 30 children are expected, engaging a second entertainer is advisable as it may impact the quality of interaction and access to the entertainer’s services for each child.
The purchaser is responsible, and any incurred parking fees must be settled at the conclusion of the event.
Complimentary travel is offered within a 20-kilometre radius from the Melbourne GPO. Beyond this, a $20 travel fee applies for every additional 10-kilometre radius.
Wonderland Party Entertainment reserves the right to stop or cancel outdoor events if weather poses a potential danger. The purchaser must provide adequate shelter, and Wonderland Party Entertainment may cancel if the provided cover is insufficient.
Event invoices may increase due to additional requests by the purchaser, event requirements not specified by the purchaser on booking, or any unforeseen circumstances. If the purchaser reduces the booked time, the full amount remains due.
Violent, aggressive, or abusive behaviour is not tolerated. Wonderland Party Entertainment reserves the right to terminate the event without a refund if safety is compromised.
No, the responsibility for the supervision, safety, and wellbeing of attending children and other guests lies with the purchaser.
Yes, it is a requirement that a suitable parent or adult is designated to supervise children throughout the event when a Wonderland Party Entertainment entertainer is in attendance. This ensures the safety and proper conduct of the children.
No, Wonderland Party Entertainment is not a child-minding service. While our entertainers provide engaging activities, the responsibility for direct supervision of children rests with the designated adult appointed by the purchaser.
The purchaser is in the best position to understand the needs and behaviours of the attending children. By assigning a responsible adult, the purchaser ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all children and guests during the event.
Yes. All Wonderland Party Entertainment performers hold a valid employee Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Public Liability Insurance, giving you peace of mind that your event is in safe and professional hands.
If required, we are happy to provide a copy of your entertainer's Working With Children Check and Certificate of Currency prior to your event.
We recommend booking 2–4 months in advance, particularly during school holidays and other busy periods, as availability can fill quickly. Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred character, date, and time.
All we ask is that you have a clear, open space large enough for all the children to sit comfortably in a circle, with enough room for games, dancing, and other interactive activities.
If your party is being held outdoors, we kindly ask that you provide a large picnic rug or blanket for the children and entertainer to sit on during parts of the entertainment. We also recommend choosing a shaded area where possible, particularly on warmer days, to keep everyone comfortable.
Our entertainer will bring everything else needed for the party, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration!
We recommend scheduling your entertainer to arrive approximately 30 minutes after your party is due to start. This allows plenty of time for your guests to arrive before the entertainment begins, helping ensure everyone can enjoy the full experience from the start.
We recommend serving food during the face painting or balloon twisting portion of the party, which typically takes place after the first 30 minutes of interactive games and activities. This helps ensure all the children are present and able to enjoy the games together before taking a break for something to eat.
We recommend leaving the cake cutting until the final 10–15 minutes of the entertainment. This provides a wonderful finale to the party, allows everyone to gather for photos, and gives guests the opportunity to say goodbye to the character before they leave.
